Your directors are current W. P. Carey students who fell in love with Camp Carey as freshmen. Learn a little bit more about the students who will show you the ropes literally, because there’s a ropes course – and make sure you’re having a blast at Camp Carey.
Sarah is a senior Marketing major also pursuing a certificate in Leadership in Business. She also loves spending her time showing off ASU’s campus to prospective students as the President of the Devils’ Advocate tour group. Sarah has also worked for ASU Housing for the past two years and is a member of Greek Life at ASU.

Tia is senior from Colorado pursuing a Marketing degree as well as certificates for both International Business and Korean Studies. Tia particularly enjoys interacting with peers and freshman students as she serves each year as a Camp Carey Facilitator, a WPC 101 Facilitator, as well as gives tours of campus as a member of Devil’s Advocates. In her free time Tia enjoys traveling, doing yoga, and being a part of Greek Life at ASU.

Danielle is a junior pursuing degrees in Marketing and Global Management. She is extremely excited to be a Camp Carey Student Director this August! Danielle is involved in the W. P. Carey School of Business as a WPC 101 Facilitator. She is also the President of the Dancing Devils organization within ASU. Outside of school, she likes to hike with her puppy, go to Arizona Diamondbacks games, and practice her gourmet chef skills.
“Meeting my best friend at Camp Carey. We were assigned to the same cabin and instantly clicked. Now we are roommates and sure to be lifelong friends.”
Catherine is a junior Business Communication major originally from Chandler, Arizona. She is an active member in Alpha Kappa Psi, a co-ed professional business fraternity. Catherine has previous experience as a Staff Facilitator Assistant for WPC 101 and will be teaching a section of the course on her own this fall.
“Being able to do exciting outdoor activities with the new friends I made at Camp Carey. Additionally, our team won the “Best Team Chant” award which really made the group bond with one another.”
As a native Arizonan, Brock has always been a Sun Devil. He is a junior who studies Finance and Computer Information Systems. On campus he is known for being involved in Alpha Kappa Psi, and off campus he is an intern at Pathlight Investors. Brock has proudly attended camp and is honored to have the opportunity to become the camp director after being a facilitator last semester.

Chen is a senior with concurrent majors in Marketing and Sports & Media Studies from the W. P. Carey School of Business and Barrett, the Honors College. He has been highly involved with the Student Engagement Office, the W. P. Carey Business School, ASU Women’s Basketball Team, ASU Athletic Office, NCAA Final Four Local Committee, and the W. P. Carey Housing Committee. Chen competed in Mr. Asia and has great relationships with members of the international coalitions at ASU. Chen’s passion for student service is contagious.
